SARASOTA, FLA -
Alicia K. Borgeson, a 27 year old woman from Sarasota, recently found herself in a precarious position. There she was, working at some random company filing files and running errands, when suddenly a customer's credit card number fell in her lap. I'm sure that there was some moral struggle involved, but in the end the lure of plastic prevailed. In the end she had used the credit card number to purchase $5600 worth of goods. Her last purchase was a can of Dr. Pepper, which she was holding when cops busted her as she left a convenience store.
Prior to buying the can of Dr. Pepper, Alicia K used the stolen card for several other essentials. First she got herself a motorcycle, some Yamaha thing that cost about three grand. Then she went to the dentist, as all of us should every six months but many of us forget, and had a new tooth installed. From there she zipped off on her new Yamaha and paid $300 for a tattoo. Somewhere during her big adventure she was put in jail for something (not the credit card - that happened later) and used the stolen plastic to bail herself out of jail.
And finally, the can of Dr. Pepper. At this time the details are a little sketchy. It is unknown whether the Dr. Pepper was the original flavored type or one of those newfangled diet vanilla mango flavors that the Dr. Pepper folks are flooding the market with.
