SEFFNER, FLA -

A couple of Seffner girls, one 18 and the other 17, went on a good old fashioned vandalism binge that lasted over 12 hours yesterday, although the evidence gathered so far indicates that they took a break at some point. 

Caitlin Lumsden, the 18 year old, and an unidentified 17 year old started out on Monday afternoon by slashing a tire on a '99 Mercury that was parked in the local high school parking lot.  Then they took a break, and picked up again sometime late Monday night/early Tuesday morning.  They went to the home where the '99 Mercury was parked, and this time slashed all of the tires. Then they broke the car's windshield and painted the hood black, real sloppy-like with a can of spray paint.

Then the two energetic gals went on to break windows on three other cars.  Then it was defacing a development wall. They wrote "Nasty Slut Whore" in big black letters on the wall, once again using spray paint and doing a very unprofessional job. The two spunky Seffner babes then crawled under the very same development wall that they had just defaced and zoned in on the chief victims. Chief victim number one apparently lives at 508 Apache Lane, because the girls threw a hammer through on of the house's windows. 

Chief victim number two assumedly lives at 3905 Oak Hammock Drive, which is further on in to Brandon. At 3905 Oak Hammock they broke the windows out of a Toyota and spray painted the garage door, writing some more nasty stuff similar to what they wrote on the development wall back in Seffner.

Then the cops caught up with the two young ladies, slapped the 17 year old on the wrist, and charged Caitlin Lumsden with all the crimes they committed, and then charged her with contributing to the delinquency of a minor for each of the crimes. It all added up to a nice long arrest report, probably at least an hour's worth of writing (cop style).

One of the crimes was "throwing a deadly missile into a dwelling". And then another was throwing a deadly missile into a dwelling with a minor present. Actually, the minor thing all comes under that contributing delinquency law.
