People around here are just having trouble grasping the "just dial 911" concept. We reported a couple of days ago in an exlcusive report that a Lutz accountant called 911 to report that he was being arrested against his will.
Now 911 is there to protect people, but not from everything. Calling 911 will not help you if you are in the process of being arrested. Unfortunately at this point there is not a 3 digit number you can call to make cops stop arresting you. And it's not gonna happen under the Bush administration. That's just the way it is. You all just have to wait it out. For now just keep off the cell phone when getting arrested. Maybe when Hillary finally becomes president things will change.
So in the latest 911 misunderstanding, Robert Darryl Ballam felt that he was not getting his money's worth while at the Shangri La gentleman's club, a place where naked women rub up against gentlemen for money. After a while at the naked women establishment Robert felt that the rubbing/money spent ratio was skewed in the naked women's favor, so he dialed 911 and said "I want my money back!"
The cops did come out the the Shangri La, however Robert felt underserved. The cops couldn't get the guy's money back, and told him he probably just ought to leave. Robert didn't like this, so on his way out, he called 911 and asked if he could get some different cops to come get his money back from the naked women. While the original cops who couldn't get his money back were still there. That's another thing you can't really do with the current 911 emergency system. The different cops never came to Robert's aid, instead the original cops arrested him for being an idiot.
