Victor Martinez, a Tampa attorney, is the latest middle-aged-man-notable-local-citizen to get arrested at the infamous Playhouse.
In the last arrest of a middle-aged-man-notable-local-citizen at the Playhouse, Robert Linger was arrested for being one of several other middle-aged men who formed a circle around an undercover detective and proceeded to make the detective very uncomfortable.
In the latest incident, Victor the middle aged attorney allegedly approached an undercover detective while pleasuring himself. (That's him on the left, so you can get the visual). Of course, the attorney for attorney Martinez says the allegations are unfounded. No truth to the charges whatsoever.
But there's kind of a bizarre twist to this story. A few years ago, Martinez's wife of 17 years, a Public Defender named Rosalie, fell in love with one of her clients. The client just happened to be Oscar Ray Bolin Jr., a crazy-sick guy who killed a bunch of young women in the late '80s. He let one young girl live, after he chopped her arms off. Rosalie, a glass half full kind of person, saw the tender, loving side of Bolin. She left the alleged public monkey-spanker Victor Martinez and married convicted triple murderer Oscar Ray. Rosalie and Oscar Ray got married and lived happily ever after, except Bolin,
who was sentenced to death.
So the bright side for Martinez is that he doesn't have to worry about getting in trouble with his wife.
