God Lucky Howard, pictured here, is really not much like God, and he really is not very lucky. Now in all fairness, God Lucky does live near a church, so I guess you could say he was trying to live up to his first name. However God Lucky was also allegedly selling cocaine from the house, and when caught this just added an additional charge. So much for lucky.
Undercover police purchased a few grams of cocaine from God Lucky at the house by the church in April. Then the poloce got a search warrant and found three plastic bags with 22.5
grams of cocaine and a digital
scale with cocaine residue.
God Lucky has been charged with one count each of delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of
a church, a school and public housing; one count each of delivery of
cocaine with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church, a school and
public housing; and two counts of possession of cocaine.
It is not known whether God Lucky is the guy's original name, or if he changed his name to God Lucky. But look at the guy, and consider that he just got out of jail four nonths ago for a cocaine related charge, and he also pleaded guilty to some kind of cocaine crime in 1995. So it is really doubtful that the guy took the time to go through legal channels to change his name to "God Lucky".
So let this be a lesson for all you soon to be parents out there. Just give your kid a normal name, like "Jimmy", or "Stanley". And I really would not suggest trying reverse psychology by naming your child "Convicted Drug Dealer" either.
