A brilliant young man, who also happens to be my favorite reader of WIBGTH, passed along an interesting observation:
The Theory of Relativity (and the book "Einstien's Dreams") tells us that time actually moves slower as we move further from the surface of the earth. In other words, if two people who were both born at the same exact time and lived in the same house in a valley somewhere, time would move at the same pace for both.
However, if one of the people moved out of the valley, to the top of a nearby mountain, time would move slower for that person. And it stands to reason that the mountain-top guy would age slower than his ex-roommate, who still lives in the valley.
So given this irrefutable law of the universe, why is it that old people consistently and instinctively migrate to Florida, to spend their remaining time on earth just a few feet above sea level?
And this observation from here forward shall be called "The Esoteric Time/Space Continuum Conundrum"
If you were expecting to see some story about somethhing weird that happened, or somebody acting like a fool or doing something stupid, don't despair! Tomorrow is a new day, a new post, and if nothing bizarre happens (slim chance) their is a total logjam of recent incidents. Also, for you readers who are hip to the scene, THE SECRET SPOT has a new update. (If you're not hip to THE SECRET SPOT scene, look for the SECRET SPOT post in the archives)
