Well I'll be go to hell. A guy decides to bury a bunch of those old Airstream trailers halfway, so they stick out of the ground halfway.
Just like that Cadillac Ranch place off of Route 66 that is all famous.
BUT IN THIS CASE the Tampa zoning board says "NO WAY you silly little wannabe" to Frank Bates (2nd cousin to Norman), "You got to dig those trailers back up and set them down horizontal, just like a trailer is supposed to be."
So why in the world would a sane person take the trouble to bury a bunch of Airstream trailers? Well it turns out that this person is a trailer salesman. So in this case the MAN is probably right. A bunch of trailers buried halfway is not art. It's just a way for this Bates dude to get some publicity for his trailer sales place.
Next thing you know, people will be calling every beer can they throw out a car window "Art"
And then we've got some kind of weird art oriented anarchy going on.
And we all know that only the lawyers get rich when art oriented anarchy sets in.
